The George Pearson Center is home to 120 residents and 19 acres of green space. These lands will be under redevelopment soon. To ensure residents’ voices are heard during the redevelopment planning, the Pearson Residents’ Redevelopment Group has formed. The PRRG will help communicate between key decision makers and residents.
The redevelopment is an opportunity for dialogue about inclusive communities for people with disabilities. How can the redevelopment support people with disabilities, optimal health, and independence?
To help communicate its message, the PRRG will use a variety of tools. The first tool is a new visual identity. The image (above) includes sweeping green space, light and warmth from the sun, and a diversity of buildings. This picture shows the many ways to redevelop Pearson.
The PRRG meets regularly in person, and will also use large bulletin boards, print and online materials to communicate. Quick links:
